- Prepare Handful bunch of palak
- Get 1/2 tsp kitchen king masala

Generally making biryani is very complicated and time consuming task. Although it is worth time but many times we do not have so. I tried this Chettinad style Keerai biryani recipe adding palak leaves after watching Captain TV Cookery show. My daughter Raksha had a plateful of this biryani happily.
Steps to make Palak Biryani:
- In a mixer grinder, add chopped onion, chopped tomato, green chillies, garlic cloves grind it and make a smooth paste. Remove it in a bowl.
- Blanch palak. Grind it and make a smooth paste.
- In a pan, add oil, onion paste let it cook for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.
- Add palak paste, cook it till oil separates.
- Add soaked rice,water, salt, kitchen king masala and colour.
- Let it cook till water gets dry.
- Remove Biryani in a bowl garnish it with roasted cashews and dried red chilli.
Aromatic and easy biryani with Palak (Indian Spinach) and potatoes/aloo. Fry the paste until the raw smell of tomatoes and Palak leaves. Then add red chilli powder,coriander powder and garam masala.
