- Now lets grind the indgridients to make usal.
- Grind in smooth paste like this
- In cooker add oil,mustard seeds,bay leaves.
- Add paste prepared and cook till oil is separated from sides on slow flame.
- Now add salt to taste, red chilli powder 1 tsp, turmeric powder 1 tsp,coriander powder 1 tsp and sev usal masala 1 tsp.(if u don't have sev usal masala add garam masala same quantity and 2 lavings at this stage)
- Stir till aroma releases then add white peas.
- Add water now.
- Let this usal boil,once it starts boiling add besan slurry.
- Cook this mixture till it thickens like curry (approx 10 mins on slow flame)And serve by adding lime juice,sev,and finely chopped onions and pav.
