Jhol is a mildly spiced curry with the consistency of a thin watery soup. A Dalna on the other hand is hard to describe. It is somewhat in between a Jhal and a Jhol; not too spicy, yet has more spices than a light Jhol and I do not make Dimer Jhol or any kind of egg curry as often enough as I would like to. This Bengali Egg curry fits that bill perfectly.

- At first marinate the eggs with salt,red chilli Powder and turmeric powder
- Now add oil in a heated pan and fry the eggs,keep aside.
- Now fry the Potatoes adding salt and turmeric powder and keep aside
- Now add oil in the same pan and tamper the whole jeera garam masala,dry red chilli
- Fry the onion paste adding salt and turmeric powder
- Now add the ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell disappears
- Add tomato puree and red chilli Powder and mix with the masala well
- Now add the fried Potatoes and eggs combine everything well.
- Add water and cover till the Potatoes get soft.keep it on a low flame
- Finally add garam masala and switch off the heat.
