Didn't bother blending since I like chunky garlic. I added some red pepper flakes and used cherry tomatoes, which I guess they have more water. Increase heat to medium and add tomatoes, red pepper flakes, basil. A fresh Tuscan cherry tomato sauce for spaghetti is best with garlic. And onion is better in the sauce for fettuccine - if you want to make genuine Italian pasta!
